Can your paper plane go the distance?
WHITE RIVER – Children of all ages can score a helicopter ride this weekend, if their paper plane can fly the furthest. The competition, open to young and old with no entrance fee, will take place as part of a demonstration by locally based Mercy Air on Sunday.
This non-profit organisation’s volunteers carry medical supplies and evacuate people during emergencies such as floods – especially in Mozambique. It will take place from 11:00 to 16:00 at Bagdad Centre.
